Oprah explores the secret behind "The Secret"

The Secret is not anything new. It's just a repackage message on old message. In the early 60's, a man by the name of Earl Nightingale had a weekly radio show that talked about the same thing that the Secret claims to have uncovered. When will we wake up a see that all that is new is really old--or in the case of making money---repackage.

the ideas are nothing new, i agree. but the audience that the message is reaching is new. certainly people are making money. those involved have "attracted" this attention, money, public airspace to themselves at this point in time to spread an old message to a new audience. bravo lady o and her crew.

A law is a law when it happens the same way for 100% of the people, 100% of the time. The law of gravity, for example, works the same for everyone. "The Secret"--and the so-called "Secret behind the Secret" on the Oprah Show would have been more helpful if they had provided their audiences with the beginning steps of the process, instead of jumping ahead to the action steps. They tout the millions who have gotten great results--and totally ignore the millions who did the same thing and got no results at all. It's misleading. I know that they meant well and I have no doubt that they want people to do well, but if they had begun this journey at the starting line and had given us a stronger foundation, those who appear to have had no success would understand why, would not be discouraged, and would be better able to make some lasting changes. I watched the video after a friend suggested it and it was nothing new for me. I live my life in GOD and so therefore GOD lives in and with me. I've let the dust bunnies collect on it.
