Bush endorses McCain
Staff Reporter | Posted March 5, 2008 8:34 PM
President George Bush endorsed Sen. John McCain for president on Wednesday. McCain, now the presumptive Republican nominee, was Bush's adversary in the 2000 presidential campaign, but the two men buried the hatchet in the White House R ose Garden.

"John showed incredible courage and strength of character and perseverance in order to get to this moment," said Bush. "And that's exactly what we need in a President: somebody that can handle the tough decisions; somebody who won't flinch in the face of danger," he said.
"I'm very honored and humbled to have the opportunity to receive the endorsement of the President of the United States," McCain responded, describing Bush as "a man who I have great admiration, respect and affection [for]."
McCain also promised that he would run "a respectful campaign" against Sen. Clinton or Sen. Obama that he said would be "based on the issues and based on the stark differences in vision that we have for the future of America."

Exactly! this endorsement just proves that if McCain gets in office, it will be like having Bush for a third term...and who wants that?

This isn't news, HRC did the same thing in one of her catty remarks about McCain vs. Obama, since she is the only one 'qualified to be commander in charge on the whole planet as I know everything, although, I don't really have a clue as to what it even means, other than I was married to a commander in charge!!'
Let's see, McCain or Clinton, I'll take McCain, at least he says what he really feels and has not so far race baited for a vote like she has.
But, the sneaky Hillary has a way to go, and, I'm sure is ready to try every underhanded trick she can to get the nom, and, if she does, hopefully trounced.
