Clinton-Obama feud may hurt Democratic Party in the fall

And this is news to whom? The HRC camp with their win no matter the party of the people who want change have made sure of it and have all but assured that the GOP will retain the WH. If, someone as bumbling and out of touch as McCain wins, no one to blame but Bill and Hillary Clinton, they have run one of the dirtiest races in years, all because she feels the job was meant for her, and, no one should have dared try and run against her in a way that would have her in second place, and, now she and her rich cronies are trying as hard as the can to manipulate the system in her favor to steal the nomination. Too bad they are so out of touch that they don't realize that she has little to no chance of winning in November if she does manage to somehow take it, her negatives far outweigh her positives, fibs, gaffes and race baiting not included. And the one that she wil make sure the party is "unifed" yeah right, the GOP party is the one she will be supporting if she is not on the ticket, is the truth ever in her mouth?? If, Obama gets the nod, there is no way she or her man will support him, and, she knows it.

Let's be accurate. 1) It's Bill Clinton that marginalized and reduced Obama's victory in South Carolina being attributed to him being Black. 2) It's Hillary Clinton that marginalized and diminished considering Obama as a serious candidate (and movement) by stressing and I quote, "Let's Get Real" (as if nothing is real about Obama support). 3) It's Hillary Clinton that said Obama brings nothing to the presidency but a speech, whereas she and McCain bring experience - Hillary by default said McCain should be President over Obama. 4) It's Hillary that is on a "Scorched Earth" strategy to destroy Obama at all costs. Obama is not "scorching the earth". I will forever note and recall the Clintons for their "ways" and "tactics" to destroy at all costs for the sake and benefit of Hillary. In fact, I will be very pissed off and annoyed if Obama picks Hillary to be the VP, I will seriously reconsider my Obama vote if he rewared their BS. Hillary wonders wonder why she's not liked? Considered to be a B*tch? Just look at her tactics, how she plays the "fear card", there is nothing that B*tch won't do for her personal gain. F her. Sit Down Hillary, sit your ass down!

These are exactly the reasons why I don't like some of the Obama supporter. They claim that they are educated people. But look at their dirty language, their hatred, is this the way Senate Obama going to unite the country? Like a lot of other people, we will vote for McCain if not Clinton.

Well, Mr Li, if the truth hurts about HRC, by all means, exercise your right to vote for McCain, HRC will be doing it, as will most of her supporters, who were never going to vote for Obama in the first place, since, why would any democrat vote for McCain???? A vote for McCain is a vote for the same polices of Bush. She has run a nasty, racially tinged campaign, and, the facts are out there to back it, so, its all on her, her husband, and, those who work for her, not Obama, as much as she and her supporters like to try to claim. She wanted a scorched earth win, and, she isn't going to get it, and, she will sink the party, no one else, so, please, just keep in the context of how it has all played out, since, no one here has the abiltity to tell her or him how to run a race, or who will support them.

Once again the media is not being fair even in the title of this article. Clinton’s campaign and behavior is destroying the party. If the Obama people did not respond to the Clinton people’s lies the media would say Obama had no backbone. I for one am sick and tired of the TV news people lack of partiality and their favoritism toward Hilary. I should not be surprised. They did the same thing to get the present administration in the White House. But on second thought maybe they were right because Connecticut Senator Joe Lieberman running around Europe the Republican Candidate McCain at one point I was confused as to whom the candidate for the presidency is. Lieberman appeared to be so happy just to be standing with McCain. For a moment I thought he was the GOP candidate

Neither candidate for the Democratic Party's presidential nomination can realistically claim a commanding solid majority of votes that have been cast to date. The party must offer a candidate that will enjoy universal support with in the ranks of the party. Realistically I question whether either of the leading candidates can honestly meet that test. A middle road must be found that everyone can and will happily go on. What has occurred to date is the construction of a circular firing squad. I feel that both of the leading candidates can be both be likened to Moses, they both have lead the way. They both have shown what is possible. They both need to agree on who will now take the lead into the promised land.

Are you all dumb? Whichever person you support in the primary, the key is to get a democrat in the office. McCain and the republicans care about 2% of this nation and it will be another four years of selfish governing. You would NEVER hear the Republicans talk like this whoever their nominee is, which is why they've been successful in the presidency over the last 20 years. They tow the friggin party line and democrats should follow suit. If you're not convinced that it will be another four years of catering to big companies and the rich then, check out the NY Times article on McCain where he blames the home loan crisis on lenders and borrowers. Obviously, it is a far more complex issue than that and it benefits our government overall to intervene and help. Stop being dumb democrats and get it together. Whoever wins the nomination will get my vote.

It is true. As an Obama supporter and a Democrat, The dirty tricks (distortion of facts and manipulation of media with distorted facts and memos) and negative campaigning of the Hillary Clinton Campaign plus her overt fakeness disgust me. While I don't mind the race continuing until the Pennsylvania Primary and through North Carolina, even to the last Primary in South Dakota on June 3rd, if she tries any more deceitful BS and does not develop her own delegate lead fair and square as Obama has, I won't vote for her if she gets the nomination by SuperDelegate Coronation. Since I was 21 years old in 1988, I have been voting Democrat, voting for Dukakis back in 88. People have complained about Third Party's not being viable etc etc. Well, I think if Hillary strong arms (the math clearly shows she can't do it fairly) her way into the Nomination, I will abandon my party and motivate every ObamaCrat to do the same. Obama has run a fair campaign, Clinton plays like a Republican, so might as well have a Republican. Really, what's the real difference between Clinton and McCain's records? Very little, especially when it comes to Iraq, Iran, and Immigration. Nader may yet see my vote if Hillary Clinton is on top of the ticket without Obama on it. And I will drag as many people as I can with me. Barack Obama has proven I do not need to vote the lesser of two evils any more, I don't need to hold my breath and vote for a candidate I don't believe in. Change has finally come to this country and the irony is, it will still come even if Hillary bullys the Superdelegates into the nomination because I know I will not be the only Democrat sitting this one out and voting for a Libertarian or Independent. If the Democratic party elite cannot resolve this, they will no longer deserve our support. Hillary Clinton as the nominee will be the end of the Democratic Party as we knew it, and the pieces may never be able to be put back together.

...I think what some don't realize is that it can be more difficult to decide the nominee on the democratic side...the party is largely INCLUSIVE, you have many more factions represented that are trying to come to a descision...the republican party is largely EXCLUSIVE representing those who stick to it's core ideology without fail whatever the case may be, there's a lot less diversity here and so easier to come together...I wish people would stop buying so wholeheartedly into the media's Clinton vs. Obama democratic party in-fighting headlines...they are engaged in a head to head contest and we all know politics can get low...I will support Obama or Clinton as a nominee for POTUS, both are capable and are similar on postions with each poised to make history, or her-story, upon winning the white house...

Don't lose focus or allow the media to influence you. We know that Obama is winning. Facts are facts. Lets just keep our eyes on the prize and look ahead to beating McCain. Hillary will probably have to be VP but I think she is too hard-headed. Well, the way Bill is putting McCain on a pedestal the past couple of days, maybe Hillary should try to be his veep, I'm sure that would be far more palatable to the two of them over being second to Obama. And, she has run the best GOP campaign of anyone of any party this long, drawn out primary season.

Let's try to keep two words in mind here: Supreme Court. The next president will either finish the job of destroying the Bill of Rights, or will reverse the actions of the Bush Administration. Most of the rest can be quickly repaired, or even controlled as it is happening, but that is damage to the core of this country. Ask yourself where you'd be if this court had presided 50 years ago. Do we really want to throw a hissy fit because our favorite Demo didn't get the nomination and turn the Court over to the GOP for four more years? Because I'm confident there is at least one justice waiting to retire until after the next election, maybe two. I doubt they'll hold on for four, and certainly not eight more years.

Hillary needs to step down..."she has the right to stay in the race, but she does not have a good reason"

Well, lets see, making sure HRC is elected who has used race as a wedge issue does not does not mean she will appoint anyone to the Supreme Court that is any different than the ilk that Bush has, since, she to get the nomination has shown, that she does not have the moral backbone on any civil rights issue. Sorry, The SC does not matter anymore, and, most analysts have said its so far to the right, that the next 50 years are messed up for any average person seeking justice, and, will continue to turn back the clock on all civil rights issues. So, on that, Hillary needs to step down, she and Billy have played to the white fear along with Rendell enough for her to win Pennsylvania, and, hurt Obama in the general election if she can't find a way to steal the nomination, so, if, the SC gets more right wing bigots on it, no one to blame but, HRC who has made sure that the GOP will win.

I am unable to bring myself to vote for one as tawdry as the likes of Hillary Clinton. May the Clinton dynasty come to an end.
