Blacks unintentionally sign petition to eliminate affirmative action

Black voters in Colorado say they were duped by petition drive managers who deceived them into signing a petition that would help to outlaw affirmative action in the state, according to the New York Times. The petition campaign is organized by black conservative Ward Connerly, whose group, the American Civil Rights Coalition, is trying to eliminate affirmative action in Arizona, Colorado, Missouri, Nebraska and Oklahoma this year.

This is why its never a good idea to sign anything on the streets, especially those petition folks who sit out in front of stores, libraries and such, you never know what you are actually putting your name on, since, the real proposition is seldom even on it, or in teeny tiny print. Never ever sign something you have not read and understood. And, if Ward "I hate all things black" Connerly is behind it, rest assured its something destructive and comes from his own self loathing hatred of himself and his ancestors.

Ward Connerly is a hypocrit...read below: "two years after he went public with his anti-affirmative action views, the San Francisco Chronicle reported that Connerly had taken advantage of a minority preference program on multiple occasions in the 1990s...Connerly & Associates, Ward's firm, received more than $1 million in state government contracts."

tandy you are correct about what he really is but also look at it this way: By accepting the money he sure as hell can say he has experienced first hand how set asides benefit minorities, can't he?
