Mariah Carey confirms her marriage to Nick Cannon

E Online also confirmed the story from the groom's family member, Linda Cannon, although she declined to say where the wedding took place.
The stars themselves opened up to People magazine. "We really do feel we are soulmates," Carey, 38, told People. The magazine reported that the wedding took place at her Bahamian estate. "I never felt a love like this was in the cards for me," said Carey.
Cannon, 27, also confirmed the news. "She is beautiful on the outside and 10 times as beautiful on the inside," he told People.
The magazine also said it has "exclusive photos" in the new issue of People.
Carey appeared at New York's Tribeca Film Festival recently with a huge 17-carat diamond ring on her finger, but she didn't officially spill the beans until this week.
The Grammy Award-winning Carey was named "the best-selling female pop artist of the millennium" in 2000. Cannon has starred in several movies, including his 2002 breakout performance in Drumline. The couple have been dating for several months, according to media sources.

I have always found her VERY immature when I have seen her interviewed. She at 38 and him at 27 are prob the same age mentally.

There are a lot of people that will hate on them but there are always those that want attention. Those that hate are just clossed minded uneducated people on the bases of love. There isnt color/age most just have sex without getting married before judging look at your life if ya even have one. I think that it is so cute i am very happy for them but i really do think how long is this really gonna last for....and man who would ever think that they would end up together..kinda fast don't you think...but,i wish them very good happiness and i am happy for them....and i hope the age thing don't mess things up....
