"Representing more than 13.65 million television households in the U.S., the African-American television audience is the largest minority segment in Nielsen Media Research's measurement samples," according to Nielsen.
This weekly Nielsen Report looks at television viewing only within African-American television homes. A rating is defined by Nielsen as "a percent of the total universe, most commonly referred to as a percent of total television households."
An HH AA% of 1 is equal to approximately 136,500 Households. The Total number of African American Persons in the U.S. for the 2007-2008 broadcast season is 35,965,000, according to Nielsen.

I disagree with this list. I can't be the only one out there watching Everybody Hate's Chris. And not one program that's on the UPN network (U Poor Negroes Network) is on this list either. I think Under One Roof with Flava Flav is funny and deserves a chance to mature. It is even funnier when he is not in the scenes. There is a true modern day Steve Urkel on that show. You all should consider wathching it at least once. If you were able to sit through one episode of the last season of Girlfriends without gaging then this is worth at least one sitting.

I agree brucito, other than House, which I love, I have seen every episode of Everybody hates Chris," one the most cleaver shows on TV. Other than that, I've never seen any of the other shows, my TV is on HGTV or the Food Network or TCM. Flava Flav has a new show??? That is scary and makes my stomach churn, sorry to his fans, but, the days of the minstrel show need years ago.
"Girlfriends" has not been the same since they let go of the one actress who could act, sorry, can't take the Joan character mugging for the shot anymore or maya being catty and bitter and Lynn, just too weird on so many levels!!

Now now Ms. Davis be nice. And Happy Mothers Day.
The only episodes of Girlfriends that I actually sat through are the ones that had Anne Marie Johnson in them who was more or less reviving her role of Dierdra in Strictly Business, which is one movie I still love from begining to end. Even on Girlfriends I wanted to go into the screen and slap the shit out of her. Her character was really irritating but made you just want to keep on watching the episodes she was in.
And how dare you say ol' you know who's daughter can't act. (I know, I know but I saw her walking down the street here in NYC three years ago and she did speak back and smiled at me). I hope she is not jealous of her little brother. He can act.
I think you should at least try sitting through one episode on a Wednesday night. That nerdy nephew is who caught my eye. He is an up to date version of Steve Urkel. Hats off to the casting director. As I said the show is better when Flav is not in the scene but last Wednesday he did make me chuckle a few times. I think this one might make it for at least three seasons. You know that means by Halloween it will be history.
The networks listed on this survey proves what you and I knew all along and that was the U Poor Negroes Network (UPN) was started to shut us (black america) up. How can you do a survey targeting what blacks watch and miss Everybody Hates Chris? Remember every year around mid-august when we.........well I am sure you and everyone else reading this remembers our reaction but enough said. We got our answer so shut up and laugh or change the channel, which is what most of us probably do looking at the turnover rate of trashxxxxxxxxx......of shows that have come and gone. And don't be shocked when next week they announce when I Love NY stars in her new show along side her equally ghettoish untalented mother.
Happy Mothers Day to all you mothers out there.
