Fox News calls Michelle 'Obama's baby mama'

It's time to start telling advertisers on Fox News that if they are going to support such obvious racist and demeaning behavior then we are going to take our business elsewhere.

Some one really needs to do something about Fox and its blatant lies and disconnect from reality. If they were not dangerous they would be hilarious. They continue to insult and alarm most Americans daily if not hourly. They are the most immature bigoted /sexist journalist sense the invention of the fable and the fairytale only those stories have meaning and were not stupid like the tale tales put out by Fox. Aparthetic South Africa’s Media was less divisive and militant then those right wing conservative militants called Fox News Anchors. They employ females to espouse racist’s views and comments and males to comment with sexist leanings and older males can take their choice or be both racist and sexist. The only rhyme or reason to it is to hate those who are different and fear everyone who thinks differently from you.

Michelle is stumping for Barack. Michelle made a freewill choice to accept responsibility for and consequences of her engaging in political campaigning.

If the Obama family cannot deal with critique, Barack should immediately drop out of the presidential race then prompt Hillary Clinton to resume her presidential bid; Hillary can stand the heat; she has courage and has fortitude.

America does not need nor will America tolerate a sissified man as our president.

Purl I am sure I am not the only one who is wondering how is it possible you/you all are able to write in paragraphs while the rest of us can not. What is going on here is getting all to obvious and the half-ass disguises are getting old fast. This is really an insult to the intelligence of the daily readers and to the people who care enough about the articles written on this site to post comments. If you are who I and others suspect you can be no other than please stop doing this or at least allow the rest of us to be able to post in paragraphs as well.

First off this site needs to quit referring to Fox as a news outlet, it is a GOP spokes network/ attack dog. As for the slur from Fixed Noise and the troll, come on now, did anyone here really think that Fox would not stop to such a low caliber attack? And, that the troll that still needs to be banned defends it? I am working at understanding why "baby mama" is a racial slur. I do not find this expression to be a racial slur.

Michelle Obama refers to Barack as her, "baby daddy" on a regular basis. Why is "baby mama" a racial slur and "baby daddy" not a racial slur?

Strikes me many are hypocrites.

Researching this issue, I am finding numerous reports of Michelle using both expressions "baby's daddy" and "baby daddy" in language. Her usage of "baby's daddy" is verifiable through film. I am still searching for verification of "baby daddy" usage by Michelle which is reported being used during her stumping for Barack.

Reads to me Fox is using sensationalism through headlining but this does not appear to be intended racism. A derogatory slur is determined by surrounding context. There is no context with the sub-caption headline. I am reading "baby mama" and "baby daddy" is popular urban slang but is not necessarily insulting. Only context sets the tenor and tone. There is no context set by Fox.

Appears this another case of a comment, textual this time, being blown out of proportion. A case could be made this is an off-color headline but making a sincere and truthful case for racism would be challenging.

Thanks to Chuck and the other sane posters here, if its on Fixed Noise, and, they would have said it about Cindy McCain, all the pundits would be going off, but, since she is meek and passive and worth $100 million, they won't. McCain seems to have forgot the Bush slurs about his out of wedlock child with the "black" prostitute that the white GOP voters in South Carolina fell for. Racist undertones aside, Fixed Noise is a bad joke, just like those who always say they are, umm, fair and balanced when they are just harpies for the GOP. They know just which code words work with the dimwitted voters of this country who think that TV and the Internet are fact based, unbiased and just want to give a news story, like the "terrorist" fist pump, that Bush Sr did in a tennis match, but, Fixed Noise seems to have missed.

Purl Gurl why don't you use some medicine and magic help your own people and the world. Why don't you save the Klan and those who really hate you and what you are? whatever the connotations of using the phrase "baby mama" to address a political candidates wife, i think it unprofessional for any so called news organization to use such language. i have no issue with fox news or other news outlets disagreeing with political candidates or their wives, you cant necessarily control a commentators words, but fox can certainly control what graphics they use on screen. and yes the obama's expect to be targeted and can take the heat, but i think there is nothing wrong for calling something out as inappropriate and unprofessional. just as the clinton's did when david schuster said they were pimping out chelsea- the statement was inappropriate and unprofessional. news outlets would do well to avoid such slang. i also dont care if michelle referred to Barack as her baby daddy...if she did so, i'd wish she hadnt done so in public, but if she did i'm sure she used it in a loving fashion. somehow i doubt fox was being loving in referring to her in that fashion. anyway..we all have names we'd call a loved one, but wouldnt allow a stranger on the street to use that same name to refer to our loved one. so just because she said it doesnt make it ok for a news outlet to use that as justification for their choice of words. that to me shows a lack of respect and accountability...and yes it is a double standard...but lets be real my mama aint your mama and so dont think you can call her mama just cause i did...you dig!?!

Fox News knew EXACTLY what it was doing by disrespecting Michelle Obama with that on screen graphic. It was a racist characterization and meant to demean a very accomplished African American women in the hopes of damaging her husband's run for the presidency. Cindy McCain , stole dmedications donated for deprived & poor , women & children in America and abroad. she sold those meds. used the money to pay her drug dealer for Cocaine /Heroin / LSD.
