she is yet another hypocritical dimwit Christian -- quoting her precious book of God fairy tales on TV while she was previously the whore of babylon. She has publicly shown her ignorance of history, politics and now birth control. She is pathetic.

Not that sanctified. filled with the holy ghost and everyone who isn't is going to visit the devil? Not Miss Sherri, please, say she isn't a hypocrite! Miss Sherri, this is why you need to leave your faith at home, everytime you talk, you make all your fellow Christians look bad. But, then again too many abortions when birth control is FREE for the asking, along with not sleeping around outside of marriage, speaks volumes about your lack of a moral compass or any charachter.

Wow! How judgmental Martha and Jon! I will agree she is a bit of an air-head, but do you have to degrade her? Love that Sherri joked that Barbara Walters (the only jew on the panel) needed "saving" from evangelist Joyce Meyer. That's just more of Sherri's "brilliant", "enlightened", Bible-polluted mind working overtime. She is a well-paid imbecile.

Who is Sherri to say that Barbara could, or should, be saved?

I am not a Christian, but I cringe whenever Sherri speaks on air....she makes Christians look so bad sometimes.

Too much information. Why do these public people feel the need to share such private information in such a public forum. There seems to be a real need for attention and it does not matter if it is negative or positive.

Tandy, if you watched the video, you would see she was joking and apologized to Barbara even though Barabara was not offended. Some of you are just using your dislike of Christianity and taking it out on Sherri.

Some of you judgmental folks need to pray and ask God to forgive you and then get a life. Sherri may be very naive and at times judgmental about things, but she is also candid about her shortcomings. She did not say that she is still getting abortions. What she said is that she had several in the past that she felt guilt over. She did not glorify having them. At least she has the guts to admit that she is not perfect and makes mistakes. While some of you are judging her, you probably have some secrets that would shame you and your families. If the past is in the past, let it go. More of us should be so honest and all of us should learn to forgive and not condemn.

Realistic, I have no issue with christanity...that is a pure assumption you are making based on the fact that I think Sherri's comments about Barbara were dumb. Sherri represent christians in a very poor manner...Here are some examples:

--EXAMPLE TWO: Sherri said that she would not read her child Jeffrey a book about two male pinguins raising a baby together because its "not natural...and depicts homosexuality," which doesn't make sense because in the wild pinguins raises their children among male birds while the mothers go to hunt for long periods of time.

I know PLENTY of educated christians who represent the religion very well--sherri just is not one of those people. AND rather Barbara was offended or not by sherri's comments, doesn't mean I can't be offended by her self-righteous stance...how would you have felt if Barbara had said the same thing about converting Sherri to being a Jew??

Just like all religions, there are good and bad people involved, as well as smart and dumb ones.....you can guess where I believe Sherri falls on that list

Even if Sherri was joking about what she said about Barbara, who would joke in public about converting their bosses religion?

...we don't know if barbara was offended or not. all we know is that the statement she releases said that she wasn't....she also said the same thing when Star was talking shit about her in the media and we see where that landed Star Jones: Fired!

I don't say this too often about people...but Sherri is one hot mess. Her comments on abortion could have led to a thoughtful discussion on women's rights, the pros and cons of abortion, the seriousness of having an abortion (and the emotional impact). Instead, in true Sherri style, she made the topic and herself seem trifling. Sad...so sad....

...Most of us don't dislike Sherri because of her approach to christianity; we simply dislike her because she comes across like an idoit...it no different that my disdain with George Bush or any other public figure that refuses to use their brain before they speak.
