New video revises 'Wassup' commercial in pitch for Obama

A new video reprises the famous Wassup Budweiser commercial from 2000 by depicting a group of aging guys who come together on the phone to repeat the infectious commercial line of years ago. But things have changed since the TV ad first aired.

"Its been eight long years since the boys said wassup to each other. Even with the effects of a down economy and imminent change in the White House, the boys are still able to come together and stay true to what really matters," says the description of the video on YouTube.

The original ad (shown below) featured the guys watching a game and drinking a bud while pitching for Budweiser.

Award-winning filmmaker Charles Stone unveiled the new 2-minute video last week. It features the same group of friends from the first commercial eight years ago.
