Chris Brown named Billboard Artist of the Year

Billboard magazine has named 19-year-old Chris Brown as the recording artist of the year.
In its annual Year In Music issue, Billboard also selected Brown's girlfriend, Rihanna, as female artist of the year, according to the Associated Press.
The artist's rankings are determined by album sales, digital downloads, radio airplay and Internet streams. Other artists in the top 5 include Lil Wayne, Alicia Keys and Taylor Swift.
