Would Harry Reid Have Blocked Tammy Duckworth?

Now we hear via the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun Times that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid had told embattled governor Blagojevich that he did not want Emil Jones, Jesse Jackson Jr. or Danny Davis to get Barack Obama's seat.

What do all of these men have in common?

Reid was pushing for Tammy Duckworth. I have tried to keep race out of this equation, but this does raise the question.

Reid had his conversation with the governor prior to the allegations being made public, but this does show that Reid had and still has an agenda that does not necessarily have the people of Illinois at the center.

If Blagojevich had appointed Duckworth, one wonders would Reid have blocked her entrance?

These are the hypothetical arguments that "Keep Racism Alive." Arguing that Harry Reid wouldn't try to stop Tammy Duckworth lowers this debate and makes this "Tabliod Trash." Look at the pattern Obama has established? Caroline Kennedy endorsed him and she's the front runner for New York. Wouldn't the logical choice be Oprah? Would Harry Reid have blocked Oprah from being a Senator? Would Gov. Blago have given Oprah this seat for nothing? Hell no! Oprah gives away cars to boost her ratings. Think of what Blago could have gotten if he had 100 tickets to Oprah's Favorite Things Show? Pay to play baby. That's pay to play. I love Oprah, but the truth is the truth.

By the way, Obama doesn't want Burris to be senator in this situation. IS OBAMA A RACIST ?

NO!!! Senator Reid had Conflict of Interest!!!! Senator Reid had a horse in the race and Roland Burris wasn't one of them. Senator Reid has been checked mated by the Governor�s selection.
