The next black president?

We all know how Barack Obama rose from obscurity in Chicago to become a senator and then the Democratic nominee for president and then the first black president.

Well today the Stimulist Web site profiles another up and coming potential politician. He's retired Army Captain Wes Moore, who the Web site predicts may be the second black president of the United States.

Moore is only 30 years old, but already he's making waves, according to The Stimulust Web site, which was started by MSNBC anchor Carlos Watson this week.

Well, let's hope President Obama leaves office with the country on a high note and that he leaves a positive image so this brotha may have a shot at being the second black president.

From a physical stand-point, I think he must grow hair and look a bit softer. For, to me, it's a hard Russian muffia image.

From looks alone, he gets my vote! But I always cringe when I hear someone promoting "the next Black" this or that. After Obama, we need not cling onto race distinctions as we move forward. JMO.

The next Black President? Who the heck is this guy and what angle does he think he is going to use..."Don't Ask, Don't Tell?" If he thinks he is going to be the first Black "Gay" President, that title could already be taken? Time will tell why some issues are so super important to President Obama? Let's get past the first Black President before we blow this opportunity? What year are we talking 2024? I didn't use the Seinfeld tag..."Not that there's anything wrong with it."
