Colorado car dealer under fire for Obama 'jihad' billboard

I am convinced that Some whites, not all of them but some of them will never like black folks period. Not to say that I give a damn but it's just sad and we are almost in 2010.

At some point you just become so numb to ignorant white folks and their constant relentless hate. Not only is it sad but it becomes pathetic.

President Obama has a thick skin, but our patience with this foolishness is wearing thin. If President Obama is as radical or such a threat to democracy as they say he is, they would never say or do this crap. They would be too afraid to. COWARDS!

I wonder whether this dealership is a GM or Chrysler dealer who was told to go away and end its franchise. This would explain in part some of the reason for this. If not what a hypocrit if the dealership was a Chrysler or GM franchise bailed out by the government aka Obama.

This is definitely a tactic being used throughout the right wing camps. From the photos in the news story it looked more like a used car lot than a dealership. If people want to get the sign removed then hit the owner in the wallet where it will hurt. The lack of auto sales will get his attention.

I take the crusade these clowns have been on a bit more personal, and this is why. There whole effort has been an attempt to de-legitamize his presidency, and by doing that de-legitamizing the votes of the millions of people that elected him. He didnt show up at the whitehouse on his on. It was a LANDSLIDE victory a little over a year ago. Now you have the right to not like him, or his policies. But I will not let my vote be mocked, or underminded by these cowards.

Some idiots should not be ignored.

The best protest in our capitalist society; if you don’t like them, don’t buy their stuff. A boycott of the products sold by this dealership, coupled with a complaint campaign to the billboard advertising firm would be an appropriate response.

I hate these people who do this stuff it makes the rest of us look bad.I have commented elsewhere and have had some good debate here.However this sign and the people it represents do not speak for most white people.The real Jay is 100% correct in his assumptions there are a small percentage of whites who can not stand that there is a bi-racial president in the White House.I know people like to call him the first black president but its even better than that.He had a mother who was beyond race at a time when it was wildly unpopular.The people that hate Barrack hate his mother more than him.They see her as a combined two words I will never utter.I am white and I come from a diverse upbringing due to the fact my dad was in the NAVY.I have lived on both coasts,north,south,midwest,and 2 different countries.I will tell you this and I KNOW it as FACT there are white people who proudly raise kids who are racist.They are not all part of some racist group or belong to one political party.They are all however ignorant.I have challenged many of these kids and young people in my travels,most of them could not tell you a solid reason as to why they think the way they do.I hate these people they are so stupid.It is ok to question our leadership its our right enshrined in the constitution.However this is not the type of questioning the founders had in mind.Somebody should burn the sign down.

GOP voters are a SCARY, bad joke, they LOST the election and just can't deal with it, sick, twisted and full of hate, its getting scary out there, and, in these small, backwater places, probably not safe for any person of color to enter.

i,m white by skin color have lived in south my whole life. and have never looked at a person for their color. i raised 2 children who are just like me and their father we have friends of all races. i hate to be judged just because i,m white give some of us a chance i think you woud be surprised. and as far as obama goes i feel sorry that are first black president got in when the 2 white ones before him is the ones responsiable for the economy we are know living in. he is trying his best to help what they messed up for 16 years. i,m really hurt that when we finally get a man of a different race in the white house. he is put in this awefull position. everyone who knows the truth will know obama has been doing all that he can do what he was left with. and anyone who judges people because of there color are stupid. i,m 43 years old and theres never been a day in my life i,ve judged anyone. that,s not my job god is the only one who can judge anyone and it be right. thank you for reading i hope to live long enough when all this hate beyween people of different color changes we all need to bind as the brothers and sisters we are.if we could do that we would be a force no one could get thru thats for every color i dont see color i see human beings.
